Khansland Vegetable Cutlet Mix is a complete preparation blend for traditional Bangladeshi vegetable cutlets — a beloved street food and home snack preparation made from mashed root vegetables, spiced and formed into oval patties, coated in our specially formulated breadcrumb and spice mixture, and shallow or deep fried until crispy and golden.

The mix combines fine and medium breadcrumbs for the ideal coating texture — a sealed, crisp outer crust that maintains its crunch for 20 to 30 minutes after frying. The spice blend uses a slightly different proportion than our fish cutlet mix, with more cumin and less garam masala to complement the earthier flavour profile of root vegetable fillings.

The traditional filling for Bengali vegetable cutlets is a combination of mashed potato, finely diced carrot, crushed peas, chopped onion, grated ginger, sliced green chili, and fresh coriander. Our packaging includes a complete recipe for the traditional filling with exact measurements, along with guidance on shaping, coating, and frying technique for consistently professional results. Vegetable cutlets can be prepared up to the coating stage and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before frying, making them practical for advance preparation.
